SPCA FLORIDA
SPCA Florida (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Lakeland, Florida, founded in 1979. Dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in the community, SPCA Florida provides care, compassion, and hope to several thousand homeless pets every year.
SPCA Florida exists to eliminate animal suffering and to engage the entire community in the welfare and well-being of animals.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with DEEP Arts and their Orlando production of LIKAH! A Puppy Musical. Part of SPCA Florida's mission is to engage the entire community in the welfare of animals. With themes of exploration and wonder, along with love and loss of a pet, LIKAH is sure to resonate with audiences of all ages. It is well documented that children who bond with pets have less stress and more empathy. This show shines a light on the awesome privilege and responsibility it is to own a pet."
